Beaumont Avocats S.E.N.C.R.L. (hereinafter "we" or "the firm") is committed to protecting the personal information of its clients and users in accordance with Quebec's Law 25 (Act to modernize legislative provisions regarding the protection of personal information) and the professional secrecy inherent to the practice of law.

  • Provide our professional legal services
  • Manage client relationships and case follow-up
  • Comply with our ethical and legal obligations

5. Consent

In accordance with Section 8.1 of Law 25, we obtain your manifest, free and informed consent before collecting your personal information. Non-essential cookies are only activated after your explicit consent. You can change your preferences at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of each page.

6. Retention period

Information collected through the contact form is retained for 24 months after your last interaction with us. Client file data is retained in accordance with the ethical obligations of the Barreau du Québec and applicable limitation periods. After these periods, information is securely destroyed in accordance with Section 23 of Law 25.

7. Your rights

Under Law 25, you have the right to:

  • Access view your personal information
  • Rectify correct inaccurate information
  • Delete request deletion of your data (subject to legal and ethical obligations)
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI)

9. Transfer outside Quebec

Some third-party services (Vercel, Google) are located in the United States. By using our site and consenting to analytical cookies, you agree that some browsing data may be processed in the United States. These providers are committed to protecting your data in accordance with their respective privacy policies. Client file data is never transferred to third parties without your explicit consent.

11. Security

We implement rigorous security measures to protect your information: HTTPS encryption, complete HTTP security headers, no API keys exposed client-side, and compliance with security standards specific to the practice of law.

12. Privacy incident

In the event of a privacy incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we commit to promptly notifying the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) and affected individuals, and to maintaining a register of incidents in accordance with Law 25.
